Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Chronic headache could be caused by high BP or other causes of secondary headache like infections and tumor. It may as well not be caused by your high BP.A primary headache like migraine may give you similar symptoms.
Pregnancy may cause high BP but this is expected to go away after birth with physiologic changes.Persistence of high BP suggest it chronic and was surely there even before you became pregnant.
I will suggest you try the following:
-Rest well and avoid stress
-Get good sleep
-Continue with your BP drugs and assure a good BP control
-Reduce salt intake
-Take a paracetamol/codeine combination like klipal during acute headache attacks
-If headache continues, you see the Doctor for test like typhoid and malaria test that may cause headache.
You may see a neurologist to investigate cause of headache if these measures do not help you.A brain scan may also be very important at this point.
Hope this will help
Best regards
