Will cidp take rest of my life out of me without treatment? Absent f waves Axon damage, still have high anti ssb and sed, and crp high still. Sural positive. Doc says no steroids or antibiotics? It needs physical, orthotic, long term treatment. Physical med and lifestyle are helpful. Rule out infections viral especially, seen in cases of complete remission too. Gamunex is available and immunoglobulins are used for treatment.
Plasma therapy will give you more relief if possible and indicated in your case others are immuno-supressive agents are used. One study shows along with medicine, learn breathing exercise as it prevents the recurrence of symptoms. Meet a neurologist for follow up.
