Suggest Treatment For Chronic Insomnia Due To Depression And Anxiety

I have chronic insomnia due to depression and anxiety. Is it dangerous for me to take the following combination of medication: 3 300 mg gabapantin, one or two 5 mg ambien, one over the counter anti histimine, three 5 mg. melatonin sometimes one .5 mg. valium

Hello and thanks for your question. This is a dangerous combination of medications. Many of the medications you mention are sedating and could cause respiratory depression. Ambien should never be taken with valium and antihistamine. Please talk with your prescribing doctor about appropriate medication regimens to treat your depression, anxiety and insomnia.
