Hello, My name is John. I am 51. I have had chronic joint pain since 2001. Also I have back pain. The last coupe years the hamstrings would hurt when I bend, feeling like they are tearing off my butt. Now they are hurting very often, and cramping. It limits my mobility.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chronic joint and back pain . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like lifting something heavy , poor posture , being overweight , smoking or trigger points of trapezius muscle . I would suggest you to avoid lifting heavy weight , apply warm compresses , take proper rest , do light trapezius stretching and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain . Avoid lifting heavy object by bending forward .If condition doesn't get better then consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order x-ray or CT scan and physical examination . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant along with anti inflammatory and physical therapy and light stretching under expert .
