Suggest Treatment For Chronic Lower Back Pain

I have chronic low back and I wonder if the pain could be related to my stomach - I have had cancer of he colon and they removed 20 inches and I have lots of scar tissue and my stomach craps and hurts all the timel The last MRI I had one of the results said I had degenerative disc disease What is your opinion?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
The result of the MRI says it all.Degenerative disc disease is a possibility. Can be very painful at times.A possible secondary location of the colon cancer since it is a cancer that metastasizes to the bone has been eliminated.Treatment options include pain medications, corticosteroid infiltration occasionally. The services of a Physiotherapist may be hired too.I will advise you consult a Rheumatologist who is an expert in this domain foe better management.
Hope my answer will help you
Best regards
