Suggest Treatment For Chronic Maceration And Open Superficial Wounds To The Natal Cleft Area
I have a patient who has chronic maceration and open superficial wounds to the natal cleft area. This individual is handicapped....in a W/C most of the day. He is incontinent of both bowel and bladder. I have tried everything from moisture barrier ointments to powder treatments to duoderm. The duoderm seems to keep the area dryer, however, I hate to deprive him of his bath each day. Would love any suggestions you may have.
