Hi I have epilepsy and chronic migraines the doctors have tried different medicines on me the one I m on now for my migraines is imetrex. But the past few months it hasn t been helping they have tried all kinds of medicines for my headaches but when is the next step should I go to a pain management doctor to see what they can offer me?
The symptoms seem to be related to Migraine. I recommend to use painkillers to treat the pain such as Ibuprofen. You should take the painkiller while the headache begins. I also suggest to avoid factors that can trigger the symptoms.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
