Hello,
To better evaluate the stomach and rule out problems with
gastritis or
peptic ulcer you will need an upper endoscopic examination called upper gastroduodenoscopy. This will check the stomach mucosa and if abnormalities are found biopsy may be taken to confirm the nature of the abnormalities.
Some stool tests might be advisable as well like stool for ova and parasite, stool antigen for giardia, stool culture, stool microscopy, etc.
Colonoscopy (lower endoscopic examination, which examines the bowel) might be needed as well.
The examinations you mention like
ultrasound, MRI, scans, etc, do rule out problems with other organs like liver, kidneys,
gallbladder, spleen, etc.
I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
