Suggest Treatment For Chronic Pain When On Tramadol

So what is the biggest problem doctors are having with the medication Zyhydro? I have tried every pain med out there for chronic pain, having best results with dilaudid, but current doc wants something less potent. Have not tried Zohydro but would like to try. Went off dilaudid over two years ago, and having to work my way back through all the standards, tramadol, nucynta, reg. Vicodin, ocycontin, none being as effective as dilaudid ir. I have beenchronic pain patient for 10 years.

Hi there.
Its your physician to help you out. The detailed querry you made, have been carefully gone through and what I have to tell you is that when on chronic pain management lines, we have to save patient in every possible way from MASSIVE side effects too. Why your new doc. Wants low potency medicine? Its because the medications you are using chronically are spoiling your stomach and digestive tract. You will end up in non healing gastric or duodenal Ulcers; Gastroesophagealreflux disease (heart burn). Thats a big problem thats why you have to bear some percentage of pain while the rest of pain is attended by low potency pain medicine. Also remember if a patient is taking centrally acting pain medicines(Opiates) that act centrally on brain and spinal cord leves; these patients get addicted to pain medicines. Its not a pill to them then, rather its a glass full of red vine which can't be resisted.
So please accept the physician's regimen and accept as he says.
Thats why physicians are there to help you.
Hope my opinion HELPED you today. Have a nice time.
