Hi , my name is Todd Clemmons. I live in Glasgow, Ky. I am 48. I was a daily binge drinker since a teenager. I used beer to treat my anxiety/depression until I passed out at night. In 2009 I contracted chronic pancreatitis from an overdose of Percocet and nearly died. I had also been on Xanax since 2005. I was an Env Scientist for KY EPA until 2014. After pancreatitis I had to stop all drinking and was able to function happily and very functional mentally. In 2012 my psychiatrist retired. My pcp took over my cymbalta, abilify, and Xanax. In 2014 my pcp lost her license. I could not find anyone to take over my Xanax (6mg/day). I was hospitalized for a week after a serious seizure. After the seizure, I had an mri clearly showing cognitive brain damage from a stroke. I had to quit work and just recently received total disability. I am currently seeing a psychiatrist at university of Louisville. I have seen several general Drs and psychiatrists since 2014 to no avail. I have tried most all antidepressants to no avail. I can only get 1.5 mg/day of Xanax . My daily panic attacks and constant worsening depression is more than I can stand. All Drs say that my case is extremely complicated and can t find the correct medication/therapy. I have managed my physical problems fairly well, but my constant depression has taken all of my joy out of my life. Please direct me to some possible relief. Thank you in advance. 270-646-6899
