Suggest Treatment For Chronic Redness In The Eye
I have have an ongoing issue with right eye for nearly 2 years now I have been to many doctors and continuously leave undiagnosed. The problem started with redness and a faint rash round my eye which soon developed into swelling and scaly skin, Now the rash and redness have died down my eyes now look uneven and when I look down you can see and feel a lump under my brow bone sometimes on a good day this lump will shrink almost and others my whole eye will look incredibly swollen, I am desperate to figure out my condition so any thoughts/ideas that I could suggest to my doctor to investigate would be hugely appreciated

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have chronic redness in the eye scaly skin and red rashes . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like angiomas , acne , allergic , eczema , psoriasis and scabies . It can also occur due to poor immunity of body and due to side effect of some medicines . I would suggest you to maintain proper hygiene , take antihistamine like benadryl , prevent your skin and eye from direct sun light , wear eyeglasses and avoid applying any cosmetic . Apply only petroleum jelly. Consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order skin test or allergy test along with blood test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with antibiotics and anti inflammatory and corticosteroid ointment . Doctor may also refer you to ophthalmologist for eye problem .
