Suggest Treatment For Chronic Renal Parenchymal Disease
I have chronic renal parenchymal disease and contracted right kidney.Serum urea and creatinine are within the limits. No evidence of renal artery stenosis. CMD differentiation is maintained on both sides. Hypertension is well controlled (now BP 110/70). How to stop or slow the progress of disease?
Hi, There are many causes of chronic parenchymal changes in the kidneys. All these do not essentially represent kidney disease. Some asymmetry in the size of the kidneys may be ignored, especially When the eGFR is normal. Progression into CKD can not be stopped, but can be slowed by a well maintained blood pressure, attending co morbid issues immediately if there are any, good diet , exercise and healthy life style. Hope i am clear.
