hi i have chronice sinusitis and had a septoplasty and endoscopic sinus surgery and still can never breathe out of the right side of my nose i can see the turbinate is swollen and red i have taken tons of antibiotics for the problem also, what can i do next?
You may have turbinate hypertrophy it may be due to the deviated nasal septum or due to infection. Avoid cool drinks and fridge water; avoid smoking and caffeine drinks.
Use water vapor inhalation and salt water gargling for five days. Use decongestants like Otrivin nasal spray. Use tablet Montelukast and Levocetirizine. If symptoms don't improve, please consult your ENT specialist, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
