Good morning. doctor my question is this? The story I have had felt 6 month ago. I went to hospital and blood pressure was it high, and the doctor said my right artery is clogged 85 % then said he make a catherete an setting a __Stent into my artery but I not happy because they said I had A HEART ATTACK BUT I SURE I DID HAVE A HEART ATTACK. Then give me 6 pilds for medication, but I not happy with it. Question what happen if won t taking any more. what kind of RISK at have or something is happing to me?
Based on the history you have shared, you had undergone a heart attack and the stent was placed in time and that’s the reason you survived it otherwise 85% stenosis can be fatal.
To keep the stent working properly and to avoid blockage in the other arteries of heart you need to continue taking medicines to keep the blood thin.
I would recommend you to continue your medications otherwise blockage in other arteries can be lethal.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
