Suggest Treatment For Closure Of Urethral Opening In An Infant
hello, i have a 30 months old baby girl. i found that when she was born, there was no urine hole. i counsulted my paediatrician and went for a minor surgery when she was 6 months old. she was normal after that. but now i find that the hole got closed. what should i do now? is another surgery important?
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. With your history my understanding is that child might have had Labial Adhesion. This can close if you have not applied estrogen cream post procedure. Now small surgery on Out patient basis can be done and Apply estrogen cream for 2 weeks, she will be alright.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
