When i was a child age 6-9 I had four operations on my ears for grommits, I am not 31 and a couple of years ago I had a hearing test and ear examination, the examination showed I had cloudy ear drums and this has never changed since. Could this be due to the surgery I had e.g. scarring? if so is there was to fix this as I have quite a significant hearing deficiency particulalry in one ear, but both are not 100% right. What can I do? and what can be done to help improve this? Many thanks
HI Thank for asking to HCM I really appreciate your concern looking to the history given here I could say that as long as the hearing problem is concern audiogram is important and this need to be done without this it would be difficult to say anything along with this ear examination is also necessary with the autoscope this would rule out the impaction of ear wax and fungus, take care and have a nice day.
