Suggest Treatment For Cold And Fever
Hello doctor, My 3 year old son has a cold and fever. He had 101 F temperature for which I have given him 5 ml dose of Ibuprofen for children just 10 mins back. He has a blocked and runny nose so he can't sleep. Can I give him 2.5 ml dose of T-minic ( chlorphenamine maleate & phenylephrine hydrochloride syrup) now?

He can be given antihistaminic and decongestant medicines like t-minic you mentioned but 5 ml.
Antipyretic like paracetamol every 4 hourly in full doses.
Nasal saline drops can be poured.
Steam inhalation will be of help.
Better to consult your pediatrician to get the exact evaluation and prescription.
