Suggest Treatment For Cold, Cough And Breathing Difficulty

About 6 weeks ago I got a cold that came with a cough, after a week the cold cleared but the coughing did not, symptoms where random coughing attacks and extreme difficult breathing when have coughing attacks, followed with flem. When I was to breath deeply you can clear hear flem either in my throat or chest. After 1 month I went away and finally got over the cough, but during the end of my trip I was out in the cold, and the cough has came worst and more frequent during the day. What could this be?

Hi welcome to health care magic...

Here you can have chronic respiratory tract infection, chronic bronchitis, tumour growth or any obstructive lung disease...

Your work up needed with...
-Blood pressure measurement
-Auscultation
-chest x ray
-spirometry if needed
-Throat swab and culture

So by above work up your cause will revealed and than treatment will be given...

Ex. If chronic obstructive lung disease than ipratropium inhaler might needed
For allergic condition Allegra like drug needed

If further work up needed than sputum cytology might done to look for Tuberculosis or cancerous cells...

If it is influenza and if needed oseltamivir can be given
