Suggest Treatment For Cold, Cough And Lightheadedness

Hi I have had a cold and cough for a month now I can t seem to shift this catarrh and is making me feel very light headed the doctor has given me amoxicillin but don t feel much different at the moment after 3 days can you suggest anything else I could do ?

Hi,

The symptoms you are having does not seem that it could be treated with antibiotics alone. Kindly take the complete course of antibiotics as prescribed. Along with it, kindly do the following.

1. Take Tablet. Montelukast with Levocetirizine once a day for 2 weeks to overcome allergic symptoms. 2. Do salt water gargling with warm water twice daily.
3. Take steam inhalation twice daily to liquify mucous and its easy drainage.
4. Do not consume cold items like cool drinks and ice-creams. Gradually, your symptoms should subside by adopting to above measures.
