Suggest Treatment For Cold, cough And Fever

Hello sir,

I have 12month old boy and he is suffering from cold and cough since last 2-3 days and also having fever.
Doctor prescribed Asthalin 2.5ml 3times a day and crocin 1.5ml.

I searched on net and found Asthalin is not recommended for below 2 year kids.

Is it OK to give Asthalin or we should change the medicine?

Hi and thanks for this query.

Asthalin is not recommended for kids under 2 but it is not totally prohibited. If the doctor makes the decision consciously evaluating the risk and the advantages, then he knows the advantages outweigh the risk and that's why. If you have doubts about how much information he used in making this decision, talk to him. For now, continue with the medication until you here from him.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services.
