Suggest Treatment For Conjunctivitis With Stomach Pain
I was diagnosed with pink eye on Tuesday of this week and starting taking Bactrium and using prescribed eye drops. My eye has not gotten any better and now has spread to the other eye plus having been experiencing stomach pain around my belly button. What would you suggest I do? Would it be beneficial to go to the Emergency Room for different treatment?

Thanks for asking. I understand your query.
* It seems the infection in the eye is not responding to the treatment given, I would suggest to consult an opthalmologist..for a specific advise.. ( change in antibiotic, eye ointment )
* The pain in abdomen following Bactruim is increased acidity following the drug You need to take it after food/ take plenty of water through out day/ add pill like Ranitidine to treat the hyper acidity problem / avoid spicy food.
* Apart from changing the treatment plan with specialist's advise you need to clean your both eyes ( with a cotton swab dipped in warm water .. so as to clean & foment ),, twice a day .. WITH two different swabs. Do not touch other eye with uncleaned hand& then put eye drops as per doctor's advise./ use goggles to protect eyes from strong sunlight & dust.
Most of the times eye infections are contagious.. avoid touching somebody else with uncleaned hands.
