Suggest Treatment For Constant Abdominal Pain And Gastritis

I have a long standing IBS labeled condition along with diverticulitis, and have been on Dicyclomine 20mg 3/day for many years. Saw my GI doc in May and he did a CT scan and that showed diverticulosis of sigmoid colon w/o evidence of diverticulitis. I had a 10 day period in March with no symptoms (which I have never experienced), and now experiencing an increase in the following symptoms: increased and almost constant pain, pressure and soreness in left groin, gas, some weight loss, and more frequent urge to void, although typically have one BM per day. It feels as if my intestine is being twisted. The application of heat provides some temporary relief. My GI doc told me to keep taking the Dicyclomine and follow-up in 3 mos, however I have an appointment to see another GI doc for unable to see him until later in Oct. My IM doc has me on Meloxicam 15mg and Tizanidine 4 mg, both once/day for 3 weeks, and I am approaching 2 weeks with no relief in symptoms, in fact they have gotten worse. I am looking to obtain some temporary relief and open to your recommendations.
