Suggest Treatment For Constant Headache Along With Pressure Behind Eye And Ear

I have had a headache in the back region of my head, lower right, on & off for years. But now it is constant, and I feel pain/pressure too behind my right ear and all the way up to behind my right eye. I am constantly taking ibuprofen, but its so bad at times that s not helping much. Even worse at night, enough to keep me awake. Any suggestions? Thank you, Sharon Cole

hi,
the pain in the head and neck have lot of etiologies, you'll have to be investigated for knowing the right cause, 1)probably as you are complaining of pain in back of head it might be dew to occipital sinusitis, 2) as you are complaining of single sided pain it might be migraine. kindly consult your physician and get it investigated, taking any analgesic on a long term is not safe.
