Suggest Treatment For Constant, Red, Twitching Eyes For A 59-year-old Female

I am 59 female. I went to the eye dr a year ago with constant red eyes that became sore in the evening. I was told that I had allergy eyes. One of my eyes have started twitching a few weeks ago. The twitching has become more often - say every couple of hours, and it lasts longer. This evening I find that the eye feels sore. I am having seasonal allergy symptoms with head congestion.

Hello,

It may be due to conjunctivitis.

For that I would suggest you to consult with eye specialist for detailed examination.

You may require antibiotics eye drops after consultation.

For pain you can take tablet acetaminophen.

Use black glasses.
