Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain ringing sensation in ear also known as Tinnitus and echoing seems to be due to perforated ear drum and as eardrum is responsible to maintain proper hearing, therefore damage to eardrum can lead to loss of hearing and tinnitus..
I would therefore suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Otoscopy can help in diagnosis..
In case if the perforation is small antibiotics, anti-inflammatory painkillers and decongestants oral as well as nasal and antibiotic ear drops will help..
But in case if the perforation is large Tympanoplasty that is surgical repair of eardrum will be advised..
You will also be advised to avoid exposure to loud sounds, excess water exposure like swimming and also avoid picking of the ears..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
