Suggest Treatment For Constant Tiredness After Unsuccessful Knee Replacement Surgery
I am a male, age 82 in October, had a quadruble by-pass in 2014, a stroke in 2008, was over weight back then: but have maintained a 163 lbs, and much better life style since , However, not very active because of a left knee operation that was not as successful as the right knee replacement in 2009. I find that I am always tired and can sleep at the drop of a hat, even if the chair is upside down What could be the reason for my tirednness? Thank you Ron
Hi Ron, welcome to Healthcare Magic. I understand it's a long process and not much fun. If such a patient comes to my clinic, I 1st advice to get blood count checked. There's a possibility of low haemoglobin as you have just had surgery where there are chances of blood loss. Another important issue is diet. As you have had an unsuccessful operation, its natural you feel low and do not pay much attention to diet that may cause weakness. In your case, we cannot afford that so please have a healthy diet. Do write back to me, I'll be glad to hear some improvement. Wishing you good health. Regards, Dr. Anuja
