Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Acid Reflux
Hello I m 19 and overweight, I smoke marijuana and drink twice a week or less. Recently I ve been experiencing constipation whilst my stomach gives me a poop cramp. I manage to get small pebbles out, and I noticed small streaks of red on the poo. No residue on toilet paper. On an offnote, my stomach gets random burning sensations and I vomit fairly regularly especially after I eat from acid reflux which i ve heard could cause ulcers Earlier this week I had a scare about black stool after a night of dark beers. What could be going wrong? Do I have severe internal bleeding? An ulcer that s bleeding? Is it safe to consult a doctor tomorrow? I m terribly afraid of bleeding out.
Hi... Welcome to HCM you are having symptoms of constipation with haemorrhoids or anal fissure. Black stools indicate bleeding from upper GI system from various reasons such as ulcers. So I would suggest, 1.Quit marijuana and alcohol 2.Take Lactulose syrup and helps to soften stools 3.Meet an surgeon and get an per rectal examination done to look for fissure/haemorrhoids 4.If you continue to have black stools get an upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy 5.Get Baseline blood investigations such as haemoglobin levels 6.alter lifestyle, have plenty of oral fluids and fibre diet.
