Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Feeling a little constipated, but having a lot of pain in my back, mostly in the middle to right area. Have not lifted or strained my back. Hurts when I wake up. sometimes wakes me up. What could this be?
This has been going on 3 days now. Hope you may have an answer.
First treat your constipation by laxative and more water , fruits , green leafy veg etc. Because chronic constipation might lead to reffered back pain so it should be treated.
Here if pain is spasmodic and severe then USG done to rule out stone in kidney or ureter. If present treated.
USG is done in your case .It might reveal other findings like pancreatitis or colitis like disease that can lead reffered pain.
I hope your concern is solved.
If still your condition worsening then ready to help you further.
Take care.
Good luck.
