Suggest Treatment For Constipation And Excessive Sweating
Around 11am I felt constipated, but felt like I needed to go #1 and #2. I had a couple stringy small #2 s in the morning. Then my left side started to hurt and I began sweating a lot and feeling very tired. This has continued all day, but I have gone #1 normally (finally mid afternoon), but have spent the day sweating and trying to nap, but can never get comfortable. The left side discomfort has now moved to the middle of my lower left back and is constant.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to gastritis. But better to rule out cardiac problems by doing an ECG examination. If that is clear then taking proton pump inhibitors like esomeprazole ( Nexium ) will be helpful. You can also take stool softeners like lactulose or sorbitol at bed time. Taking prunes and prune juice also is good. If there is no improvement then a consultation with gastroenterologist is well appreciated.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
