Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a 6 year old grandson that has a bowl movement issue, he gets constipated I believe and does not go every day. When he does go his poo is very large like the size of a softball. He has been vomiting after eating a few bites for over a week. When he was born he had digestion issues with his formula and he had a hernia.... My daughter has procrastinated taking him to the dr and I am worried about what could be wrong with him.

First, he should try with changing lifestyle and dietary habits. You need to increase fiber intake. Good fiber sources include bran and other whole grains found in cereals, breads, and brown rice, vegetables such as brussels sprouts, carrots, and asparagus, Fresh fruits, or dried fruits such as raisins, apricots, and prunes Beans. In most cases this is not indicating any disease so you should not be worried.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health. DR. Ivan Rommstein
