Suggest Treatment For Constipation In An Infant

Hi doctor my name is Mrs nkanyezi sibiya..my son is two months and was suffering from constipation..he was using nan formular now switched to lactogen...is it easy on the stomach to digest? Secondly is lactogen recommended for lactose intolerant infants..thank you

Hi,

Formula milk is devices differently for different ages and hence the appropriate formula is fine for the age of the child. We recommend formula 1 for up to 6 Months.

However, lactogen should be avoided in lactose intolerant people. There are other formula milk especially devices for such infants which does not Contain lactose, you should ask for that.
