Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi doctor my name is Mrs nkanyezi sibiya..my son is two months and was suffering from constipation..he was using nan formular now switched to lactogen...is it easy on the stomach to digest? Secondly is lactogen recommended for lactose intolerant infants..thank you
Formula milk is devices differently for different ages and hence the appropriate formula is fine for the age of the child. We recommend formula 1 for up to 6 Months.
However, lactogen should be avoided in lactose intolerant people. There are other formula milk especially devices for such infants which does not Contain lactose, you should ask for that.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
