Suggest Treatment For Constipation, Stomach Bloating And Passing Of Gas

I haven t been able to go to the bathroom in about 4 days. I took 2 docolax pills earlier today, and still nothing. I know thinking about why nothing is working is probably making it worse, but my stomach is bloated, gassy, and I feel miserable. Do I take more laxatives tomorrow? Do you suggest I see the doctor right away?

HI,
4 days of not passing stools despite use of laxatives would definitely warrant a doctors visit. The more you take a laxative at this stage will make your discomfort even worse. It is probable that there is an impacted hardened stool that is preventing. So the doctor can feel for it and can remove it manually if present. if not he will give an enema and within 30 mins you will be comfortable. So I suggest you to make a visit to the doctor.

Regards
