Suggest Treatment For Constipation While On Medication

Hi, I have currently been very constipated due to medication for a slipped disc and been taking stool softener off the doctor... I have stopped taking them for over a week and for the last few days I have basically been unable to trust a fart! Not every bout of wind is causing me to follow through however the majority of time it s happening. Can you help advise what is causing this or how to stop?

For constipation, you can take syp. Duphalac. These medications may be available over the counter.

Drink plenty of fluids and do regular physical therapy and brisk walking.
