Suggest Treatment For Continuous Arm Pain After Injection

Hi, last week friday I had a nurse draw a small blood sample from my left arm. when she initially went in with the needle, i felt a shock go through my arm up to my thumb area. Two days after i started feeling a numb feeling and a slight shock to the thumb area when i flex my arm in. I went back to the doctor who was overseeing the blood draws and told him about my problem. He did a simple evaluation of applying pressure to the area and have me move my hands and fingers to let him know when I feel the shock. After the evaluation, he didnt mention to me if it was serious or not but just told me to call back after 5 daysto update him on my arm.
Should I be worried? or is this a pain/sensation that would go away with time?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and looking tot the history given here I could say that the needle is very sharp, and this could cause the trauma to the vascular bed and to the peripheral never system and this could cause pain, but no need to worry, only watch for induration, if you find like this then see the doctor, take care and have a nice day.
I find this answer helpful
