Suggest Treatment For Continuous Bleeding For 2 Months
Hi sir, I am from Kotma, MP. It has been six years for our marriage. My wife is not able to conceive due to fallopian tube blockage. She has thyroid issue also. Her periods are not regular and most of the time it srart but doesn t stop. Presently she has been bleeding for 2 months continuously. Local doctor has suggested us to check harmonal imbalance issue. Kindly guide us on this matter. Thanks. Anant jaiswal
Your wife's irregular periods may be because of the following: 1) Thyroid dysfunction 2) Polycystic ovarian disease 3) Uterine fibroids 4) Adhesions or scarring due to pelvic inflammatory disease 5) Endometriosis
You need to consult a gynecologist as soon as possible to arrive at a specific diagnosis and initiate appropriate treatment. Combined oral contraceptive pills may be advised. She must be treated for anemia too. Coming to fallopian tube blockage, recanalization surgery can be done or invitro fertilization can be preferred.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Pallavi M., Anesthesiologist
