hi my name is angela I had object coffee table had fell on top of my foot and my ankle is hurt I went to the emgecny room and they took ex Ray of my left foot the doctor said it was foot contusion my foot and ankle still in pain from last month got appointments this Thursday at the foot doctor

Hi,
When bone / ligament or joint injury is excluded contusion is a superficial injury involving skin, subcutaneous tissue and peripheral blood vessels. This causes change is color, swelling and pain. Treatment comprises of rest, elevate the affected part, ice pack, anti inflammatory drugs over the country. Consultation of a doctor a doctor if no relief in 3-5 days.
