Suggest Treatment For Cotton Swab Stuck In The Ear

A cotton swab got stuck way to far in my ear. I could hear fine for the first couple of hours, my pain felt like an annoying toothache, and there was minor bleeding (nothing oozing). I decided to lay down in bed and then all of a sudden my ear closed up (and I could hear it closing up). It now feels like I have a a clogged or pressurized ear and it is difficult to hear out of it. Do you recommend that I go the the ER for this? I am mostly concerned about loss of hearing. Will my hearing come back? I really appreciate the help!

As per your complain you have problem of ear pain and hearing problem that may be because of injury to ear.

During removal of cotton swab trauma to typanic membrane perforation or eustasian tube blockage cause ear pain and other symptoms.

Consult a ENT specialist for further diagnosis.

Special investigation like otoscopy examination give exact idea about problems.
Start a treatment according to cause.

I will suggest you to avoid entery of water inside a ear. Avoid ear plug or any other things in ear.
