Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain productive cough with a history of extraction of tooth due to
dental abscess does not seems to be due to it rather it can be due to other causes like
Post nasal drip, acid reflux [probable chances as you have taken antibiotics and at times it can cause hyper acidity and acid reflux],upper
respiratory tract infection, bronchitis etc..
You should either consult an Otolaryngologist or a Pulmonologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in confirming the cause and treatment can be done accordingly..
As of now you can take cough expectorant containing
Guaifenesin and
Phenylephrine, suck throat lozenges, do warm saline gargles and steam inhalations..
Take soft diet,a void spicy and chilled foods and drink plenty of water..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
