Suggest Treatment For Cough And A Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat

I have a constant cough for months, sometimes I cough up clear mucus, and it feels as though I always have something stuck in my throat. There is also a constant tickle. My lungs hurt as well and for about a year I have noticed when I swallow I have trouble and it hurts.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be irritation of throat due to acid reflux. In such case proton pump inhibitor therapy will be helpful. Taking chewable vitamin C regularly also will be helpful to clear up the irritation along with proton pump therapy. I usually advise rabeprazole for 2 to 4 weeks and recommend to take a non irritating diet. Examination with an ENT specialist will be helpful to rule out the condition.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
