Suggest Treatment For Cough And Chest Infection

Hi I had a cough slightly that started about 4 weeks ago it started to get worse with no mucas just a dry hard cough... my chest and lungs was clear from the doctor I see. I've had a blocked nose but sneezing and producing lots of clear liquid from the nose, with sinus pain around the nose and across the eye brows.. I started to have a wheeze and whistle when I breathed in and out at night and sometimes during the day. That has no subsided a little and so has the cough it's not as bad but I still have a croaky voice slight hoarsness when I sing or talk... I have just finished a course of antibiotics and I know have mucus when I cough it comes out at times yellow or green. I am a smoker which is about 30 a day sometimes more if I am drinking

Hello,

Maybe you have
1. COPD
2. Asthma overlap COPD
3. Chronic bronchitis

Kindly go for spirometry and reversibility with 400 microgram salbutamol. You have to take inhaler foracort for about 1-2 months or maybe more.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
