Suggest Treatment For Cough And Sore Throat In Children

My son (age 7) had the flu two months ago. He still has a terrible cough and it hasn t gone yet. He complains about feeling week and achy even with no fever. He also is complaining of a sore throat. Some days he seems better then he will be down sick again with the same complaints. Is there anything we can do to get him well?
