Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a slight sore throat and start of cold 4 weeks ago. I have been coughing up clear mucus with a tickle in my throat constantly. Saw the Dr and nothing apparent. Treated as allergy. Nasonex spray, continue with Allegra. 10 days ago prescribed an antibiotic (doxycycline) Nothing seems to help. Still coughing day and night. I am on Losartan/HCTZ and Meloxicam for over a year. Cough drops by the bag, kleenex by the box and cough syrup. Seems to be in my throat not chest.
