Suggest Treatment For Cough And Stomach Cramps In An Infant
My 3 month old colic baby had cough and was prescribed kurfis thrice a day for 5 days. But I noticed he had loose motion and stomache when given this medicine also he cried whole night due to cramps in stomache. Now my doctor has prescribe flucold for cough and carmicide and collimex for stomache. I gave him carmicide drops for stomache and he had loose motions 5 times in 5 hours with severe cramps in stomache after that. I am not sure if these cramps are due to colic or reaction of medicine or because of loose motion.
The assembly of cough with loose motions in your kid indicates possible infection with bacterial or viral infection most likely. Kindly follow basic guidelines of cure as11: - Maintain hydration with oral rehydration salt and precise breast feed - Check that he does not put toys like stuffs in mouth - Addition of zinc drops and prebiotic sachets after discussion with his pediatrician - Keep a watch over the urine output and skin turgor, playfulness
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
