Suggest Treatment For Cough, Chills, Fever And Pain In The Ribcage
I have been sick with fever, chill, coughing with rib cage pain last 3 days. Temp has been mild between 98.3 and 100 degrees. BP has been about 130/86 plus minus a little bit. Last night, I had a cold sweat after rubbing with Vicks vapor rub and my feet gets mildly cold at times. Is this just a bad flu or something else?
Hello, It's a respiratory tract infection. You ll antibiotics like Tab Azithromycin 500 mg once a day along with antacid like tab pantoprazole 40 mg beforebreakfast once a day for five days. For cough, you should have syr Alex 2 teaspoon whenever needed upto three times a day. You can tab Paracetamol 650 mg for pain and fever. If you are having any running nose then you should Tab Allegra 120 mg once a day for 3-4 days. Hope this helps you and get back if you have any doubts.
