Doctor prescribed medicine daily 2times nebliser &daily 3times asthalin medicine& night piriton syrup one time per day. Course is completed but cough is not normal. For children under the age of 6, I would normally not recommend using any over the counter or other medications for cold symptoms, since the benefits are very small if any, and there are risks with using these medications at this age. Instead, I would recommend only using nasal suction for nasal congestion, Acetaminophen for fever, and you can also use honey, mixed in with water or juice, for the cough, which is safe and can help.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
