Suggest Treatment For Cough, Cold, Fever In A Child
Sir, my baby is of 2.5 years, he is having toncils eith cough n cold, also having fever sometime very high othertime low but when low his forehead is too hot rest of the body normal temperature, what could be the reason, is he having any severe illness, activity is fine except when temperature rises
Understanding your concern. As per your query your child has cough, cold, fever which is mainly because of lower respiratory tract infection known as wheeze associated lower respiratory tract infections. Need not to worry about it. Symptoms resembling flu and normally takes 3 days for viral fever to go. Visit pediatrician once and get it examined. If cough is exaggerating go for chest X-ray, blood and sputum test of child. If it is bacterial infection start with proper course of antibiotics. Till then give crocin 4 hrly. Acetaminophen is also effective and you can give that as well. Give child proper rest without any discomfort. Give water after every few mins.
