Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I would suggest you go to a pulmonologist or a physician get a chest x-ray done. A throat swab for culture and sensitivity may also be required to prescribe you proper antibiotics. Meanwhile try gurgling with warm salt water and steam inhalation. Carry lozenges for temporary relief from throat irritation while at work. Avoid cold beverages and oily food. Avoid exposure to dust and smoke by wearing a mask. Consuming ginger lemon tea and black coffee with boiled egg is also a common home remedy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Deepti Shivakumar
