Suggest Treatment For Cough In A Child
My son 3.5 years is suffering frm hoarsness of breathing sound espcially in the morning hour .it was observed 2 times in 4/5 months.now it happened after 6 months and paediayrician has prescribed asthalin syrup novamox cv .now hoarness and breathing problem has gone but son is coughing .can it be going ok sir

This pretty much requires an exam to even make a guess. Asthma produces a chronic cough in most people who have it and responds well to asthma treatment.
A mild infection can also do this and it lasts for a month and is generally mistaken for asthma. The asthma medicines work well in both cases.
There can be a large number of other things specific lung irritants like air pollution, smoking in the house, dust exposures, there can be long term infections like tuberculosis or even parasites.
Post nasal drip OR reflux does this commonly but not so much in this age group.
