Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I ve been sick for over a month now. It moved into my lungs about 2+ weeks ago. I cough up thick plem with very deep coughs and difficulty breathing. I went to the dr and had a chest x-ray that they said was clear, but the Dr. felt that it was pneumonia so she prescribed clarithromycin and an inhaler, I think of abuteral. I ve been on the antibiotic for 5 days. Today when I cough I get a very chemically taste in my mouth... is that normal??? or should I be concerned?
