Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that due to crack in the cap there has been leaking or seepage of the food debris and bacteria below the cap over and around the tooth leading to
tooth infection and the infection has reached the central portion of the tooth that contains nerves and blood vessels and inflammation of the nerves due to infection leads to
severe pain and once the infection reaches below the root tips of the tooth then there is exceeding pain even on biting even anything soft..
You should
consult a dentist and get an
x ray of the tooth done to rule out the exact cause of the pain and if it due to infection then firstly get the crown removed under local anaesthesia..
After the crown is removed get the
root canal treatment of the tooth done if the tooth is found by the dentist in a condition that it can be saved or else in case it cannot be saved extraction has to be done.
Both treatments will be followed by antibiotics and painkillers..
As of now you can take a strong painkiller like
TRAMADOL 50 mg thrice a day..
Hope this information helps..
